**2026 Tri-County League

Coaches Code of Conduct**

Failure to comply with the provisions outlined below may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to forfeiture of the League Deposit and/or forfeiture of the affected game, regardless of the original game outcome.

 

League Deposit

  • The League Deposit must be paid no later than March 1, 2026.

 

Manager Responsibilities and League Integrity

Managers are expected to uphold the integrity, safety, and professionalism of the Tri-County League at all times.

Field Responsibilities

The Home Team Manager is responsible for field preparation before and after each game, including games played at mutual sites or league-assigned fields. No exceptions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Removal of standing water and making a reasonable effort to render the field playable following inclement weather
  • Raking and any additional field maintenance necessary to ensure a safe and quality playing surface
  • Proper lining of both batter’s boxes and all foul lines for every game

 

Dugout Responsibilities

  • Both Home and Away Managers are responsible for the condition of their respective dugouts.
  • All trash must be properly removed at the conclusion of each game.
  • No exceptions.

 

Uniform and Equipment Standards

  • Effective June 1, 2026, any player without a numbered jersey will be ineligible to participate in games.
  • To ensure uniformity of competition, only League-approved game balls may be used during league games.

 

Game Reporting

  • Game statistics must be accurate and entered into the official League website within 72 hours of the game’s conclusion.
  • Lineup cards must be legible and include: First Initial, Full Last Name, and Jersey Number. Given to opposing manager before or during managers meeting for ground rules, never after.
